Borobudur Temple & Jogyakarta  

Transfer to Denpasar Airport for the morning flight to Jogyakarta where you are met by our guide and transferred directly to Borobudur Temple to explore this amazing Buddhist monument. This spectacular structure is a nine-tiered mountain of stone with 5km of stone relief telling the story of Buddha. It is the largest Buddhist monument in the world. Return to Jogyakarta for a city tour including Malioboro to visit a Silversmith's store and Batik Factory then continue to visit the 9th century Hindhu Temple at Prambanan.

This two days programme includes accommodation and full breakfast at the Melia Purosani Hotel or similar.

An additional tour of the artistic city of Jogyakarta, visiting the Sultan's Palace, seat of Java's most powerful royal family (closed on Monday); a factory producing Java's fine Batik; and a centre where the famous Wayang Kulit leather puppets are painstakingly crafted by hand.
