Day 2 Toraja Excursion
Breakfast at hotel. One full day will be set aside for an excursion through Toraja Land. The highlight of this region includes the ancient stone grave at Lemo and Londa where bodies of the dead are placed in holes carved into rocky cliffs or inside natural caves according to the traditional animistic rituals that are still performed today as they have done from generations to generations. In addition, you will see traditional Toraja Houses at Kete Kesuk and Pallawa. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Any traditional ceremonies or funerals that can be reached by foot will also be included.
