Ratnapura/ Uduwalawe/ Galle (1/2)  

Depart for the City of Gems - Ratnapura. Visit the Gem Museum and a gem mine. ('Ratna' means gem and 'pura' means city.) Near Ratnapura, you can then visit the Saman Devale, which has inscriptions and an emblem from the time of the Portuguese. Proceed to Uduwalawe to switch to a safari jeep and tour inside the Wildlife Park. See various exotic wildlife such as peacock, elephants and more if you are lucky.
