MAR - WOMADelaide

MAR - Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras

Visit Sydney when it would be one of the most colorful cities in the world. The Mardi Gras Festival is one of the biggest LGBTQ festivals in the world. Experience a large range of events spanning sports, theatre and performance, visual arts, even an enormous picnic Australia style. The star of the festival is the Mardi Gras Parade showcasing 10,000 participants dancing, cheering and singing their way through the streets of Sydney.

AUG - Henley-On-Todd Regatta

Ever tried sailing, swimming or kayaking in the sand? If not, then the Henley-on-Todd Regatta is the place to be. Every year in Alice Springs, teams of the cunning crew takes to the Todd River to compete in the famous Henley-on-Todd Regatta.  With Flintstone-style boats, the crew makes their way down the dry river bed to claim victory for their team.  The Regatta is a classic Australian event that has to be seen to be believed.

AUG - Darwin Festival

Darwin Festival is an 18-day celebration of music, theatre, visual art, dance, cabaret and more in the beautiful tropical city of Darwin.  Enjoy the festive atmosphere, delicious food and drink stalls, and free performances at the heart of the arts – Festival Park, and various venues across Darwin, as the Festival activates the city for three weeks every August.

SEP - Brisbane Festival & Riverfire
