JTB Asia Pacific Philippines Team Participates in Brighter Earth Project in Bohol

On June 6th, 2026, the JTB Asia Pacific Philippines team carried out a Coastal Cleanup and School Supplies Donation in Bohol as part of the JTB Brighter Earth Project. The initiative reflects our continued commitment to responsible tourism and to giving back to the communities and destinations where we operate.

 

The day brought together JTB Group employees, local residents, and community partners around two shared goals: caring for Bohol’s coastline and supporting local education. Bohol’s beaches are central to both daily life and tourism here, and keeping them clean is a responsibility shared by everyone who depends on them.

Working alongside local residents, the team cleaned the shoreline and collected waste along the coast. Beyond the cleaner beach left behind, the activity helped raise awareness of how everyday choices shape coastal environments, and how small, consistent efforts help preserve the natural beauty that draws visitors to Bohol.

In the same spirit, the team donated school supplies to local students, offering practical support for their learning and encouraging the children to continue their education with confidence. Pairing environmental care with support for education reflects what the Brighter Earth Project is about: looking after both the destinations and the communities that make them special.
