Discover George Town by Trishaw

George Town by Trishaw offers a relaxed way to explore Penang’s historic capital through its streets, colonial sites, and cultural districts. Once a common mode of transport on the island, the traditional trishaw adds a nostalgic local touch while allowing guests to enjoy the journey at an easy pace.

The ride begins at Fort Cornwallis, one of the area’s key colonial landmarks, before continuing past the Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower and waterfront jetties. From there, guests pass through Little India, where colourful shopfronts, music, and the scent of spices bring a different side of Penang into view.

The route continues through the commercial and banking districts, with views of St. George’s Church, Chinese temples, boutique hotels, cafés, and characterful old streets that reflect the destination’s layered identity. The tour concludes at the Blue Mansion, one of Penang’s most recognised architectural icons.
