THE SAND Suites & Villas opened in Jimbaran in June 2026 with just 38 rooms and villas, keeping the property compact in scale. Twenty-six rooms are joined by 12 private pool villas, while Kedonganan Beach sits around five minutes away, placing the hotel close to the coast without following the format of a large beachfront resort.
The property shifts between private and shared spaces. One- and two-bedroom villas centre on their own pools, while the rooftop brings guests together around a sky pool, bar and lounge. WHY WE LIKE IT
Its smaller scale gives THE SAND a different character from many of South Bali's larger resorts.
