Times of Rocks in Yehliu

Yehliu Geopark is internationally renowned for its unique and strange geological landscape. Located on a tiny peninsula on Taiwan’s north coast in New Taipei City’s Wanli District, it features a variety of unusual rock shapes, such as mushroom rocks, honeycomb weathering, and the iconic Queen's Head rock. CNN reported that the scene at Yehliu Geopark resembles a landscape from outer space due to its otherworldly geological formations sculpted by natural erosion from wind and waves. These surreal and striking formations create an alien-like terrain unlike typical earthly landscapes.

Yehliu Geopark provides a one-of-a-kind experience with nighttime visits. The "Time of Rocks in Yehliu" event uses colorful lights and music to showcase the area's mushroom rocks, offering visitors an unforgettable experience.
